What’s Happening in Our Garden
Our monthly Gardening Days have grown in number and in area. We now have new in ground garden beds which have started producing a crop. Get involved with our gardening community, come and meet some locals and enjoy a chat and a cuppa.
The winter rains have begun and with it the weeds which are keeping us busy mulching and filling our compost bins. The rain also means abundant vegetable crops for the picking.
Up and Coming Events:
All up and coming events are posted on our Facebook page. Come down and get involved and share your passion in the garden. Please remember to bring sun protection, gloves and water. There’s still lots to do and all hands are much appreciated.
Mark your calendars for these up and coming events:
- Gardening Days – Saturdays from 8:30-10:30am. Our next Saturday is June 20st don’t worry if you don’t have gloves or gardening tools; there are plenty in our shed.
- Keep posted on what coming up through our Facebook group.
We hope to send out a reminder email for any important events that might come up before our next newsletter.
