Membership Agreement and Gardening Guidelines

Gardening Guidelines:

Please sign in using the register when visiting the garden.

The community garden is intended to be a safe place for the community to gather. Members and users of the garden are responsible for maintaining a safe and respectful environment.  Discrimination, antisocial behaviour or damage to property will not be tolerated.

Children are most welcome in the garden, however, they must be supervised by an accompanying adult. We ask pets to be on lead and supervised.

The community garden is predominantly for growing vegetables, herbs, fruit trees, native plant and flowers.  Plants with a noxious effect are not to be introduced into the garden.

All members are expected to adopt sustainable gardening principles and use water wise practices including composting and mulching within the garden.

If you bring waste products to the garden, you are expected to take them home for disposal.
