What’s Happening in Our Garden & on Our Website
Apart from our new webpage, the GALLERY which gives us an overview of our growth and stages of developing our Coastal Community Garden, we now celebrate the completion of our Membership Application Form where members and potential members are able to sign up and make their payments. We would ask that you send us an email to let us know when you have made a payment as we are still working on the backend of this program to help notify us of who has paid. Please also remember to read through our Membership Agreement.
We continue to look for new members to help us in the garden, especially with the gardening, so if you’re interested please read through our Membership Agreement. In becoming a member you will also have access to our fresh organic produce. These past months we have been reaping the benefits of the wicking bed vegies with produce like: lettuce, tomatoes, egg plants and zucchinis.
I hope you are been enjoying and learning from our new webpages: GALLERY, GROW and all the links from this page. With more work needed to help make our website function better, we are hoping to bring more educational information to assist you in the garden.
If you would like to be involved in any way please let us know through our Facebook page or email us on: coastalcommunitygarden@gmail.com .
New Members:
CCG would like to thank members who have so generously contributed to the work in our garden both financially and physically. At present member’s fees continue to go towards establishing our garden.
Up and Coming Events:
Please check out our Facebook page for any up and coming events you might like to get involved in. There’s still lots to do and all hands are much appreciated. Please remember to bring sun protection, gloves and water.
Mark your calendars for these up and coming events:
- We are looking to grow our committee and welcome nominations for membership. For more information please email us at: coastalcommunitygarden@gmail.com
- We are holding monthly busy bee due to the heat. Once the weather cools we hope to return to fortnightly – Our March BB is on the 15th March then 12th April. Don’t worry if you don’t have gloves or gardening tools; there are plenty in our shed.
- Please add the 3rd May to your diary where you’ll find us making a presence at the Henderson Centre from 9am – 3pm.
We will put up notices on our Facebook page and hope to send out a reminder email for any major events. Join us at these activities, make new friends, eat and learn.
Gardening Jobs During Djeran Season:
Learn about what jobs we have suggested for this season on our new Seasonal Jobs page which can be accessed through the GROW page.
What to Plant Now:
